September is a weird month for beauty. Thanks to the fall editions of fashion magazines and style sites - we all know that we SHOULD want to have a deep red "notice me" lip. However, the weather is still mainly warm and with the spring fashion show images all over social media - it's actually difficult to make that shift mentally.
Bobbi Brown makes an Art Stick that helps to bridge that seasonal gap. Her Art Stick is like a lip pencil and a lipstick combined - only more comfortable. The Dusty Rose shade (shown) is a pretty pink-ish color that acts as a more feminine nude or neutral hue. If "bright = better," the line has been expanded to 13 shades from super bright to very bare hues. It is a matte product and that lack of shine is a nice approach as we edge into the autumn season. Bonus: the color really lasts - so you don't have to apply as much throughout the workday. Simply put - it's our latest lip obsession because it effortlessly adds color in a September-friendly way.
